We publish speculative fiction short story anthologies, novellas and novels which target an adult readership.
We do not accept queries or submissions about picture books or children’s books.
We may be open to young adult speculative fiction books (or chapter books for slightly younger readers) in the future.
We seek to work with and amplify the voices of Indigenous Pacific authors. That is, we only publish works written by people who draw Indigenous descent from the areas known as Melanesia, Micronesia or Polynesia. (We also include in that category: Australian South Sea Islanders, Indigenous West Papuans, Torres Strait Islanders, and Aotearoa New Zealand Māori.)
Submission pitches (not exceeding 800 words) should be made via the form below, which asks for the following:
Manuscript title;
Genre (i.e. be specific about the type/s of speculative fiction e.g. science fiction, fantasy etc.);
Word count;
Elevator pitch;
Synopsis (for novellas and novels, no more than 400 words; for short story anthologies, no more than one succinct sentence per story);
Author’s marketing reach or ability; 8
Author bio (no more than 200 words), including reference to your place of Indigenous Pacific origin and any previous publishing experience; and
Content warnings, if applicable.
All stories must be the author’s own, complete and original work, generated without the use of AI. Stories must never have been previously published.
